Why we shipped Pagsun Green before finishing Pagsun AI Employee
Jul 2026
With a small team, the hardest calls aren't technical, they're sequencing calls. We had two products worth building at the same time, and only enough hands to move one forward fast.
Why Green went first
Pagsun Green had a narrower, more concrete problem: tree and landscape crews doing structured assessments on paper or in disconnected tools. The scope was clear enough to ship something useful quickly, and the feedback loop with real crews was fast.
What that meant for AI Employee
AI Employee is a bigger, more ambitious bet, and ambitious bets deserve the time to get the fundamentals right rather than being squeezed in around another launch. Slowing it down wasn't a setback, it was a decision to protect the thing that will matter most once it ships.
What we'd do differently
We'd communicate the sequencing earlier and more plainly, to the team and to early customers asking about AI Employee. Silence reads as delay. A clear reason reads as a plan.
